Determined to bring our clients the best service and information, our research of the host cities is ongoing - and the one-hour stadium tour proved very insightful.

It brought back the excitement enjoyed during the 2002 FIFA World Cup at the same venue, where Man of the Match Ronaldo led Brazil to a two-nil victory over Germany.

The Khaya Japan team got a real feel for the stadium and were allowed to enter the locker rooms and went pitch side.

"I've been to the stadium a couple of times - to see football games and concerts - in the past. But it was exciting to stand and see the crowd seats from the side of the pitch, and imagine how it will be in the final match of the 2019 Rugby World Cup," said Khaya Japan Accommodation Manager Mana Matsui.

With 12 of the 20 teams, including hosts Japan and defending champions New Zealand already qualified, we're looking forward to the pool draw on 10 May 2017, when we will know exactly who will play each other - and where.
