The meeting, which happened via Skype, covered plenty of interesting topics. Some of the main talking points were around what skills are important when applying for a particular job.

Dividing the students into two groups - one to cover 'soft' skills and the other 'hard' skills - was very effective. The Khaya Russia team also clarified why both sets of skills need to be used together - the students found this helpful for their futures.
"I enjoyed the discussion a lot. Learning about some of the 'soft' and 'hard' skills was very important. I'm looking forward to the FIFA World Cup in my country and particularly my city. I think it will be nice to work with Khaya on this," said one student.
The conversation ended with Khaya Russia inviting students to submit their CVs for possible work at Khaya in the lead-up to - and during - the 2018 FIFA World Cup, when Khaya will require several local scouts and other help.
All in all, 14 Sochi students submitted their details. Khaya Russia are also interviewing for Saint Petersburg and Kazan and, by the end of April, expect to have three local scouts hired. That will make it one for each host city, apart from Moscow, where we already have our team located.
